1946 Born in Tianjin, Peoples’ Republic of China

Education

1966 Graduated from the Middle School Attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
1980 Graduated with M.A. Degree from the Printmaking Department, Zhejiang Academy
of Fine Arts. Taught at the Academy.
1986 By Invitation of the French Ministry of Culture visited France, learning fine arts and fine arts education and participating in exhibitions.
1992 Received a grant from the French Education Ministry Foundation; Invited as an Artist in Residence by Aix Fine Arts College; Wrked at Lyon U.R.D.L.A. and
ALMA Printmaking Studio.
1999 Artist in Residence at the Museum of Oregon State University
2000 Artist in Residence at the Pacific Northwest College of Art
2001 Became a permanent resident in the United States.
